New Year Notes
I am particularly glad to say goodbye to 2015. Reading through my hopes & dreams for 2015, I see that I failed miserably at making most of those things come true. 2015 was a crappy year. I have nothing else to say about it.
I don’t feel the optimism and excitement I felt this same time last year. I can’t think of any great or inspirational things I want to happen in my life. So, I’m just going to make a to-do list.
1) Go to freaking Scandinavia. (I didn’t get to wander alone in 2015 at all.)
2) Make an item of clothing that doesn’t fall apart when I put it on. (I procrastinated on all the stuff I made in 2015 and then rushed through the projects, leaving much to be desired in the final pieces.)
3) Become fluent in Swedish. (I’m almost to an intermediate level, but I’d love to be an expert.)
4) Find some kind of relief. (I’m looking to try Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.)
5) Exist more easily.
2016 is coming up quick, and I have no feelings about it.
