Thankful Thursday – November 8th
Feeling downright thankful at the moment:
1) Got to seem a family of turkeys jump on top of a truck and then into a tree to eat berries and gossip. 😉
2) Supposed to snow tonight – I love snow! Excited about doing some cross-country skiing or snowshoeing this winter. I really do enjoy living so far north. 🙂
3) I just ate a mealy red delicious apple. I know some people think they are gross, but I don’t really like red delicious apples unless they are mealy. 😀
4) I’ve been getting up earlier after the time change, so getting home earlier after work. Always a good thing.
5) I am thankful to live in a country where government intervention is relatively lax. Though I don’t particularly like politics or politicians, and don’t care about money or taxes or elections, it is still a good thing not to live in a dictatorship. Plus, if that ever happens, I’m totally going out with a fight. So, I’m not too worried about it.
6) Being able to walk. I enjoy taking walks.
7) Having learned how to handle my brain, even though it isn’t always easy. At least I’m learning, and learning is what I love to do.
8) Talking to people and telling them the truth without any fear or deception or malice in my heart.
9) I just feel thankful in general and have a general sense of peace. That is the best thing to feel. 🙂
How are you today, my friend?
See you later,
– Jane
